We're Moving!

OK, we'll we're not moving as in houses or jobs....but we're moving blogs!!! I'm currently moving this blog over to our new "home" on babyjellybeans.com!!! It has more whistles and bells and it's a more secure site as well. Once it's up, we'll let you know! You'll also have to let us know if you want access for it will be password protected!! It's the little things...

It's the little things in life that make one happy. Or in my case...a big thing...that dries our clothing!! Our dryer broke last Sunday, of course with a load in it, and another one pending!! Now some people say "you don't realize how much you rely on that stuff until it breaks". Well trust me, I have always appreciated both our washer and dryer! After spending most of my life having to trek down into scary apartment basements, and route around for quarters just to do my laundry, I've been VERY appreciative of owning my own laundry set up. So I was a bit bummed when my dryer went ka-put. I guess it was time. It came with the house, as did the washer, which we ended up replacing, because it looked like the previous owners made mud pies in it vs. wash their clothing in it. When we bought the washer we thought "hmm, we should get the dryer that goes with it"....but we just couldn't justify replacing something that works. Anywho...our new dryer arrived this weekend!!! And not to sound like 1950's housewife...but man was I excited! And efficient! Whoo-wee! That baby dried our clothes in half the time of our old crappy one! Whoo hoo!!!

In other news...it's spring, though it feels like summer!! Hot hot hot!!! Another My first sign of it really being spring though was finding this fellow in the road on my way to work! He hitched a ride to my office and we let him go down by our creek. I know you're suppose to leave them where you find them...but there was no safe spot that didn't involve him getting splat at some point. So hopefully he'll do ok in his new habitat.

Family Trip to Crayola!

We took Neil to the Crayola Factory this past weekend in Easton PA. It was fun. We met up w/ my ol' college roommate, her hubby and son. Though the Crayola Factory isn't much of a factory...and really isn't geared towards itty bitties...we still had fun!

Last night, while taking a "family outing" to pick up a bargain I scored on Craigslist, Neil in the back seat got my attention, but saying for the first time "Mom!...MomMomMomMom!!" Granted, I think he was actually talking to his shoe...but it was still hard to not get teary eyed while driving!!! I love my little monkey!

Lucky 13!

I say lucky because I was born on the 13th, so I've never been fearful of the number. Today Neil is 13 months old! It is also his friend Maddie's first birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Maddie! Not much to report today. It being Good Friday had off from work, so I got to play full time mommy today which was fun. I made stuffed shells and later Neil and I delivered them to a friend of ours who has fallen ill. Neil continues to grow and thrive, and is getting braver with the walking. He has amazing balance, but the confidence comes and goes. I am not pushing this however...he'll "fly" when he's ready.

A Visit to Daddy's Office

Over my spring break, Neil and I decided to go visit Jeff at work! There's very little we can see, so we pretty much hung out in is overly tidy cube (seriously, how do you work when there's nothing on your desk?!) and met some of his work mates. The highlight of this trip however, for Neil that is....was Daddy's computer! Neil is turning into the little techy!
